Let me answer your question with another question. Have you seen anything that would indicate that oil was not a consideration? Why has Haliburton played such an important role in destroying Iraq and raping our gross domestic product? People are not all pro war, just the ones who profit by it and don't send their sons, daughters, brothers and sisters to fight it.

The "war" is not a real war . we're not fighting any uniformed national army. We're attempting to keep the different factions in the Near-East from getting into an all-out civil war . The Sunnis and the Shiites are jocking or the dictators chair . If we move out , war between them will pull in all or most of the Muslim countries . That would be a really big mess .

The people who are pro-war typically feel that way because they feel we attacked Iraq in response to our being attacked on 9/11.

They are in error.

And the war is not about oil - it never was. It was about creating a long term military presence in the Middle East.

We're gonna be there a long time...

Operation Iraqi Liberation O I L.

Seriously, if you don't think it was about getting the oil for big Corporations you truly are naive. Want to buy some swampland in Florida? It's really good land! Really!
