When I'm alone I ride an ordinary bike with a basket for things I need to cary and a zipped pouch I made for it to put my telescoping cane. It also has a very bright headlight and tail lights for safety reasons, though that's mainly for when it's cloudy. I don't ride at night as I'm almost completely blind at night.
When I'm with a friend, or with my boyfriend we use a tandem bike so we can both ride, but since I have a little risidual vision and he has none I have to sit in front to stear.
