Someone told me 2 teaspoons of baking soda would work great.


It does NOT!!!

I would've thought baking soda would make it worse! It's an alkali, and would react with your stomach acid to produce water (as the acid and alkali neutralise each other) and GAS!

Maybe the homeopathic remedy of baking soda...? They are supposed to have the opposite effect when they are diluted to high potencies.

Ginger (gingernut cookies, flat ginger ale) is supposed to be good for gas and nausea type ailments.

I do not know about homeopathic medicine at all, but peppermint tea will help the gas problem.

Fennel tea. Its settles the tummy and reduces gas. A teaspoon of seeds in a glass of hot water, let seep 5 minutes, then drink.

Also, if you like bananas, they cause gas. You could try not eating them.

gross!... eating baking soda i mean.

why not just let it all out and relieve the stomach pressure?
