Does anyone have any general idea on what is expected on most interviews when demonstrating powerpoint?

Basic slide layouts, transitions, animations, graphs, inserting media, slide timing, etc.

Hi. Most interviewers will recognize 'clutter'. Try to avoid this. (You know, having images that do not say much dissolve, right enter, left enter, etc.) If you can add music or sound that is relevant this will sometimes impress folks.

You should also be able to tie in to excel spread sheets and word docs.

I never heard of such a thing, but they must expect you to use it as a visual aid to your background.
