My cable company carries the NFL Network and I enjoy having them do the games. I did have to pay extra but it wasn't much at all. I get a HD Digital Sports Package which includes 12 digital sports channels (1 of which is the NFL Network). It costs me an additional $3.95 per month. More than worth it and it looks amazing in HD on a 42" LCD TV.

You should take your anger out on the cable companies that refuse to allow the NFL Network to be available on the standard cable package. If they didn't want everybody to pay for it as a premium channel, this wouldn't even be a topic of discussion. And it is the big cable companies that are the problem. I get the NFL Network on cable (at no extra charge) and we have a tiny cable company that only serves three counties here in Kansas. If they can provide the channel for free, the big companies like Time Warner and Comcast can certainly do the same thing - they just choose not to.

Yeah I don't like It. Theres no point in putting the NFL network because personally I don't have cable so I can't see any games except on local channels, but when they put Monday Night Football It kills me in the insides.

It's not the NFL keeping the games from you...it's your cable company. They want to offer the NFL Network on their premium channel tiers, and the NFL Network won't allow it.
Write a letter to your cable company...or better yet, cancel your cable and switch to satellite. Stop giving them your money--impacting their bottom line is the only way to send a message to these giant corporations.

You obviously know how to use the internet, so go to nfl.com. and watch the game live. That's what I do when a game is on the Network.

Seriously people, the NFL did this for a reason. You can either be bitter, or do something about it.
Just get DirecTV. It's cheaper than cable anyway, and you'll get the NFL Network.
If you have a friend who has it, and refers you, you get their best current promotion and you each get $50.

Be glad you don't have it. Bryant Gumbel and Cris Collinsworth are the absolute two worst commentators that I have heard in a LOOOONG TIME. It's horrendous.

ummmmmmm. stop whining. the amount of sports coverage you get is 25 times what your father got and 10000 times what your grandfather got. plus every week there are games that you dont get to see. dont cry just because nfl network does it once a week while trying to establish themself. one day everyone will have it and it wont matter. dont cry about this you have bigger problems. have a nice day
