It's like all of a sudden people are just doing the stupidest things while driving, like not signaling for lane changes, and deciding to change in to the same lane you are signaling to get in to at the same time, and you almost hit them. (3 lane hwy)

As soon as you do turn on the signal light to change lanes, the car behind you in the lane you want to change in to hits the gas, like the "you're not gonna cut in front of me, gradeschool mentality" Say what????

Driving too slow in the fast lane, or even the slow lane for that matter, or the opposite, where they are speeding along, weaving in and out of traffic, with no signal light usage.

I just want to scream at them THEY DIDN'T PUT THE SIGNAL LIGHT ON THERE FOR DECORATION YOU KNOW!!!

It's gotten so I get so much anxiety driving, I can't stand it, and don't want to go anywhere. And I don't even live in or near a big city.

Is it this crazy where you live? I live in the Florida Panhandle.

Hello neighbor! We MUST be neighbors...you've perfectly described what I experience every day! Seriously, though, when I was down there visiting a friend in Miami, *I* got a little anxious driving! And I'm a recovering aggressive driver!!! Nah, think I'll stay here in northern VA with the craziness I know!

It's everywhere and all different types! I live in Wisconsin and we just had snow. So, either people drive 5mph or too fast for slippery roads. this is where common sense should come into play, but noooooooo! There are too many cars, too many people! If only I had a limo and a driver!!

Keep breathing!!!

I think what you describe is all over.
Consideration for others seems to have been thrown out the proverbial window.
Become a defensive driver. It helps.
You anticipate the stupidest thing that another driver can do and when they do it, it is no surprise.
It keeps the blood pressure down.

It's not only drivers, people have become very self centered and believe that they are the only ones that matter. Even the people you used to count on will screw you if they think they can get an edge. The older I get the more I think people suck.
