Sure why not. When you are younger you can mainly on go on looks. But as you get more mature their needs to be more content besides eye candy.

I would never blind date. Sometimes it doesn't always turn out the best, on those TV shows like blind date... They meet before they actually go out. It's stupid....
But, not every blind date will get you an instant relationship. Some people try more than 20 dates before they even find a girl that offers them a second date. For both Male and Female.

Not as fast as most people might. I mean I have had all kinds of "nice" guys go a little crazy on me and saying that I reject them because they are nice and all this and that. I mean I have enough of my own issues I don't need more. So I want to hear more about someone than they are just nice. Because honestly I'm a nice enough person too, until someone gets on my bad side. And really nice doesn't pay your way through life and no one likes a door mat. So I look for more qualities than just how "nice" someone is.

I would never go out on a blind date, no matter how the date in question was characterized.

yes. Why not? She could be your future wife. One date will not kill you. Could be the start of something spectacular. Don't listen to these naysayers. What's a couple hours of your time? I know some gorgeous woman that never get asked out because men are intimidated. That's how they end up as tag along on a blind date.
What's the worst that can happen?

Its sad how many people are superficial and shallow. Most of the answers here reflect that. So if she's not beautiful she's not worth the time? How can you judge a person you haven't even met before?

Maybe, you need to drill for more info. (i.e. work status, mental history, family background or anything more.) Can this person carry a normal conversation? If not the person setting you up is lying about the good personality too. :-(
Does this person setting you up even care for you? Or is it a cruel Joke!

lol that all depends on how shallow you are. I take "nice personality" as I don't have much else meaning thier not much to look at. Plus "nice personality" doesn't mean you'll get along it's just he/she thinks that thier a nice person. But if your willing to take a risk i say go for it.

What's the worst that can happen? You will lose an hour or two to find out that she\he is not nice? No big deal.
