Bohemians bathe regularly and contribute to the economy and society by actually maintaining jobs and paying taxes.

Hippies don't do this.

Bohemians certainly had a disregard for "societal norms", but it was because they were more concerned with art for art's sake. Their heads were in the clouds, and they spent their time trying to answer deep questions simply for the opportunity to expand their own knowledge and understanding of the world around them.

Hippies' disregard for societal norms is essentially based on simply wanting to live their life their own way. Their heads are in the clouds, too, I suppose, but the stereotype says that they'll forget the deep question before they can ask it.

Bohemians were more sophisticated. Hippies depended on others more.

They are the same except money. Hippies are poor , bohemians are not as poor.
