Use products to clean baked on foods.. such as BAM. The cleaner it is the less smelly it would be. Open the windows and spray air fresheners.

There are two things that a sure thing to get ride of this
unpleasant unhealthy odor.

First of all and foremost turn your Kitchen Exhaust fan on.
That will reduce the amount of air polution in your kitchen.

Also cook with your pan's lid on if possible. A good clean alternative to fried food is using boiling water. You can cook almost everything by boiling. It's good for your health and the environment.

Finally, open some windows and let the fresh air in. Polluted air besides having the added disadvantage of smelling bad, it is also bad for your health.

Good luck and good cooking.

Try boiling a cup of water and 1 to 2 tablespoons of vinegar for a few minutes (don't let the pan boil dry). Turn on fans to help dissipate the smell. If the odor lingers, dip a clean dishtowel in full-strength vinegar, wring out the liquid, then wave the cloth around -- it does the job

Stop frying or get a commercial exhaust system. Sounds like you have a lot of hard core elbow grease type of cleaning to do on the ceiling and walls. Use warm water and a detergent. Good luck.

Yeah, you're right...and I hate that too - Alcohol definitely helps...I tend to drink about 1/2 a bottle of rum...then I can't smell anything (nor care...)
