No lawyer wants my case because my wrist was not broken; however, after 6 weeks, I still have some pain.
How do I go about getting some kind of compensation?
I am a veteran and do not have medical bills as result, just continuing pain in my wrist.

I mean that I was treated at a VA hospital, x-rayed,etc. and did not incur monetary damages. Shouldn't the pain in my wrist be compensable for a small amount?

Step 1, file a claim with the city or county that operates the buses. You can't really sue until you have applied and been denied.

Contact the city and see if you can file an administrative claim, but my guess is that it would be denied.

What does your veteran status have to do with anything?! This is not a military issue.

You have no medical bills, haven't needed medical attention, and your wrist aches. Your damages are little to none. If you had gotten medical attention, perhaps you'd be entitled to get the bills paid and a minor amount for pain and suffering.

You should have approach the bus company after the accident and didn't wait for 6 weeks. Surely, they could have brought you to the hospital for treatment as compensation.
