1. "How far is the observer" that's along the hypotenuse.
Sin20.4 = opposite / hypotenuse

2. Considering the 10.5 degree andle
16.2 m along the plank is along the hypotenuse
How high is the opposite side
How far horizontally is the adjacent side

3. The string is the hypotenuse
how high is the adjacent side

4. To convert 0.00365, count the number of places you move the decimal to get it between the 3 & 6. That's making it bigger. Compensate by making the exponent on 10 smaller by that many times.

0.00365 = 3.65*10^-3

You need to learn to use the ^. Hold Shift and hit 6.
