My question is where did the stuff that blew up in the big bang theory come from

"I understand the big bang theory. "

Really? So why are you asking a question for which you already should know no answer exists?

And why do you think it was an explosion ("blew up") rather than the expansion that it really models? Or are you just not interested in showing that you understand the nomenclature?

Anyway. The answer, as indicated, is not known. It is not even known how good our current cosmological MODELS are.

Which should not stop us from using the correct language when speaking about the models.

What do you think?

the biggest theory is m-theory. it says that there are 11 dimensional membranes everywhere inside and outside of our universe. and that there are a near infinite number of other universes besides ours that are completely independent and dont react with ours. and whenever 2 of those 11 dimensional membranes meet a big bang happens, and the universe created immediately splits off from ours. these 11 dimensional membranes are tiny, think of them as strings but only a trillion billionths of a millimeter across, all back tightly together in our universe. imagine how many places they would be touching at any given moment. so theres big bangs going on all around you.

thats just a theory mind you, its not even that popular among most scientists, its just the best explanation of where the energy from the big bang came from.

This is natural for us to wonder about. Everything comes from something else.

Except the Universe.

I think it is incorrect to think of a cause. There is nothing before the beginning. If there was, then it wouldn't be the beginning any more and we would have to figure out where that other thing came from.

As counterintuitive and unsatisfying as it may be, I think we have to concede intellectual defeat. The Universe has put us in our place. I can almost hear it saying, "You won't contain ME, you squeaky little organic rats!"

It came from the singularity, of course. I thought you said you big bang theory? Must be a fairly limited understanding. I suggest further study on your part.

Might be from a previous cycle of Big Bang and Big Crunch.

some people wrote some real crap
THIS IS HOW IT HAPPENED
ok
in this tiny condensed ball, there was matter and anti matter(note matter is not something really made from anything, it is the thing making stuff)
ok, and this matter was inside the ball, but there was also anti-matter. These two things crashed and crashed inside the ball, creating(something forgot sry) and this substance kept on taking up space. Eventually there was no more space and boom. all of matter, substance, heat, and anti matter shoot out
