My s-i-l, this past summer...gave me a perfume/lotion set, in a box....that she had given to her step-grandmother as a Christmas gift in 1989.
Her step-grandmother passed away in 2006 and there was an auction.....she bid on and won this perfume/lotion set - she paid $2.00....
It was......very well intentioned....but unusual in the way she presented this to me, telling me the whole story about how she remembered giving this gift back in 1989 - she described the wrapping paper, bow and the card.......the *best* part....was telling me how she ONLY had to pay the $2.00 for it.....

I received a key from my great grandmother,
Who made me promise not to open the box until I'm 25.
Thank you very much :)
I'm very curious as to what it contains!!

A pencil. One of my friends forgot it was my birthday. It didn't have any lead in it either.

I don't think I've received any that you can call "unusual".
