with pimp c, but I'd just like to say one thing...It seems like a lot of people are comin in here whinin "His name was Pimp C, and he was a bad example or something." The thing that they fail to realize this that hip hop is a business, an entertainment business. And just like say...a professional wrestler, he played a part...that part was a "Pimp"...Imagine someone like KRS one, when he started out, he was talkin "my 9mm go bang" type stuff, cuz that was his "part"...later after the death of scott la rock, he went and changed his image to "tha teacher"....He even later went on to claim that "he never owned a gun"...thing is, back when he was "criminal minded", his part was to play a crook...eventually that changed...he changed his part to be socially concious...that's the thing, people look at Pimp C just by the image he shows FOR ENTERTAINMENT...I'm not sayin that he was a great guy or you should all love him or whatever, you should just get off of him for his "Pimp" image..

Tru dat...Ppl are so insensative...Its crazy that at this time ppl would use this as a tool to make an example out of hip hop. Like you said its entertainment. The media of course will be quick to tell about how he went to jailm thats what all the haters that dont know about him will ride off that information. But they wont report about how he was married with kids. And a good friend. SMH

Rest in Peace

R.I.P. Pimp C first off

Second, I agree with you. I read an article about the whole thing, and they were talking about his career. They were making it look like he was a bad person. I don't think anyone has the right to say that anyone is better than anyon else until they take 5 minutes to meet someone, which the reporter didn't.

well in my opinion - you should respect the dead - angels fall before they fly - and no one here on earth has a right to judge - your right - any music artist - or actor - is that an entertainer - sometimes people write about past experiences - sometimes they are fictional - but regardless this man was a good artist in my opinion - and i hope that he R.I.P. -

and to all the haters - hollah at him when you get there - cuz you never know what people are gonna say about you when your gone -

RIP to all of earths fallen angels -
