Solve for x, express in simplest a+bi form.
i knw how to solve for x (well i thought i did ) but i dont get where the i is coming from cuz there is no negative square root. Please help

This leads to quadratic equation

x² - 6x + 13 = 0

and THERE IS a negative square root when you solve it.

The solution is 3 ± 2i.
