It was on CNN with the Heli crew filming everything. The guy flopped in the tall grass, one cop jumped on him and the other from behind started whaling on him. You will notice a bald darker skin cop with a vest move that cop out of the way as to say what are you doing man. I noticed that right away.

Yes, I saw the same footage you did. and the first thing that occurred to me was,"what the bleep?". I was in law enforcement when I was much younger, and having been in such situations, I know that during these chases, the adrenilin starts to flowing and its hard to shut it off at the drop of a hat, Some cops are better at calming down than others and this high speed chase bs puts other civilians, perps and cops lives at great risk. Its not cool to see cops beating people who appear to have surrendered, but its reality.
