Yes they do!!! I got my bachelors degree in Kinesiology with minors in Education and Math ( I teach 7th grade math however). I have to be certified in PE to teach PE just like I have to be certified in Math to teach Math. This is all part of the "highly qualified" part of No Child Left Behind.

Yes they have at least a B.A. degree, but it is in physical education instead of, say, English education.
