When urine or blood touches your tampon, what color should it be.?

Should it be the same? Yellow for urine and red for blood? Cause my friend said that her tampon turned brown.

You shouldn't get urine on your tampon if it is in the right place.
Anything between red and brown is normal... even pink if it is very light. If that is the case, your flow is most likely too light for a tampon.

Brown could mean the blood is not fresh. all shades or red/brown is normal.
