I know that I'm like them both..

My dad's smar@$$ personality and My mom's quiet conservative side....Kinda clashes at times but my outgoing and optimistic nature is kind of just ME.. I'm quiet and conservative when I first meet people, then I'm ougoing, and nice. My smart@$$ness will peak through after a person gets to know me so they don't take me serious...

I'm actually proud to say I'm like them in a way because I know they created me and practically crafted me into the person I am today, with me adding my own personal touch of course ^_^ They Are Good parents, though I think they went super easy on my little sister -_-

I have realized over the past few years that I am acting and sounding just like my mom. I am 27 and I have taken on alot of her stern attitude. I feel that childern should respect older conversations, not interruping them while talking. I just think that me having been the rebel child I wold have never turned out like her.

Mom- when i started worrying about my nephew wearing a jacket because i didn't want him to catch a cold!

Dad- when i'd fill awkward silences with an odd joke to break the silence.

It started maybe 3 years ago.

I started feeling like my mom when I had my child. I was always like "Well I'll never do (fill in the blank) to my kid when I have one!" But I find myself doing the exact same things she did when me and my sibs were growing up. She was being a typical parent which is what I am now.

Being a mother now of 6 children and a grandmother of two I find myself saying the exact words and phrases my mother said to me when I was growing up but I am thankfully nothing like her or my biological father

I feel just like my Mother. I talk to strangers in the line at the grocery store, wear round toed, comfy shoes and pants with elastic waist bands. Started about two years ago.

Sometimes! I notice that as I get older, I act more and more like my mother. I'll say things that are typical of my mother, and do things that she would do! Its strange. My sister says that as hard as I try not to, I'll end up being some what like my parents. Kind of scary! lol i'm jokeing, love you mommy. ummm i'm 16 now, and I noticed this about 2 years ago...but i've always been a little bit like my mother. well, she is my mother, so duh!

=)

As soon as I had children, I began to hear echos from the past, my parents remonstrating me, as I told my children to : Turn the lights off, get off the phone, wipe your feet, be careful, eat your dinner, do your homework etc.,

Scary stuff !

definitely. Started acting like my mom when my sis went off to college. Kept telling her: don't drink, don't smoke, don't do drugs, etc... and I'm also younger than her, so it was kind of weird.
