yes!!!!!!!!!!! ive always had that theory, i give my faves the best cards in the pack,,, and everyone else gets the leftovers. like the stupid bells and ornament cards,,,, they r so boring, i feel very offended if i get shitt cards, lol xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I don't get too many Christmas cards, but the people that send them to me are good friends and relatives. Yeah, I think they like me cause I've never gotten an ugly card.

Of cause you give the cute cards to the ones you love. I give the left over cards, or the boring ones to those who I have to write cards for.

No I don't think of it that way.
It's not what the card looks like, but it's message inside and the thought that counts. Most of the time when I get cards, I also get gifts.

I get a box of general cards for the old people in the family. They're happy that they know people who are still alive one more year and that the mail isn't more bills.
I get individualized Hallmark cards for my siblings or close friend.

I would say that it is the sentiment inside. A hand written note means that they really care. A pre-printed general letter says nothing.
