No they married in 69, and she died from breast cancer in 98. He married Heather Mills in 02, and the divorce papers were filed in 06.

No, she died of cancer, and he was very much heart broken, because he loved her very much. They were so sickly in love even after so many years being married. It's very different from his current ex wife's relationship.
