Yes we do eat potato (latkes) aka potato pancakes on this holiday of Chanukah..we also eat jelly donuts and custard donuts ..its all part of our tradition..so what will it be for you tonite??? Jelly or custard filled donuts????? also what do you like to put on your potato pancakes.... ? I love applesauce...

I like those Latke things. There good. I think we put butter and cinnamon. I do like that applesauce idea. Maybe I'll try that next time. Enjoy!

I am of Italian descent and I make Latkes myself in the old Jewish tradition because they are dam-ed good. I also like Jelly donuts but never heard of that tradition. Pancakes and Apple Cranberry sauce please.
