Put certain words from the Night Before Christmas poem into a hat. Everyone draws a word. Then someone reads the story and when they hear their word the have to shout HO HoHo and they get to open their gift. You could also use an alternative version of the Night Before Christmas if there are no kids around.
You could have everyone write on their gifts why Santa thought they were a good boy or girl this year and read them out when you hand out the gift. These could be made up or true. You could also make why they were naughty too. The person handing out the gifts could be dressed as an elf. Just get a hat at the dollar store.
Have kids wear reindeer ears and dash around delivering the presents.
Have a Santa come and deliver the gifts.
Have riddle on each gift as a clue as to what would be inside.

ok everyone draws a name and that is the person they have to buy for then u can have grab gifts (make a game out of it) and then u can steal gift from some one if u dont want to take a grab gift then they have to get one from the grab pile just be crative
