We were friends for almost a year and things were going well but within the last six months she calls me 4 or 5 times a day, comes over when i dont answer the phone, she has one sided conversations with me (doesnt listen to me or cuts me off) She pokes her head out her door as soon as i drive in and says: wanna come over for tea?, Tries to talk me into drinking when I try to quit, slept with the neighbor's husband, she doesnt have any family and makes me feel guilty so that ill be her friend, i keep trying to avoid her but she always finds a way into my house, looks in my window and asks who was here, screwed around with my brother, keeps hounding me and she wont give up no matter what i do or say. How the hell can i get rid of her without hurting her too badly?

she sounds like a nightmare!! don't you know the old saying? good fences make for good neighbours - grow a big hedge, build a fence - when she asks what you are doing tell her "oh we can have some privacy - you know, nice to do our own things once in a while"
maybe find out what she really doesn't like -such as a certain type of pet - and get one - certain stinky flowers - get them
honestly, if you just keep ignoring her, won't she get the hint? If not - do you really care if you never see her again? or are you too nice - i think i would maybe have to say - "You know what ......(her name)..... you are a lovely person, it is so nice having such a friendly, neighbour - but I really need to focus on some other things for a while and was hoping you would understand and we can stop having cuppas and all that".
she is probably lonely - how annoying - buy her a puppy for christmas.
or, just be mean - when she pokes her head out the door - just put a crazy look on your face and open your eyes really big and yell "NO" - or scream - lock the doors, change the phone number.
talk on your phone outside (pretend) when you know she is listening and say something like - oh yes, my neighbour, ha ha ha, poor dear, she is nice, but never leaves me alone, i just can't tell her - will she get the hint?
AAAAHHHH - just get's me annoyed - we had really annoying neighbours who would park in front of our driveway, sit on our stone garden wall etc. We ended up planting really spikey plants near the wall and parking our own cars down lower on the drive etc. etc. they eventually moved out - no one in the street liked them - their house was repossed because they couldn't pay their mortgage repayments. now our street is really nice. everyone sort of "nods" hello to each other, but keeps to themselves. sometimes our neighbour next to us invites us over for a bbq as their little boy is the same age as ours - but that is it.
watch the movie Duplex (with Drew Barrymore) it is so funny - might help you with some ideas how to get rid of her.

Forget not hurting her, she is blatantly asking for it. She has no morals. And at the rate she is going, you might not have to worry much longer. Some wife may get to her first. This woman is in misery, of her own making, or she wouldn't encourage you to drink against your wishes. Also, if she is peeping in your windows, you have a criminal case against the psycho. Be careful. Just use four words: Leave Me Alone Permanently!

you are probably going to have to hurt her i'm sorry, but you are going to have to straight up with this woman. Ait her down and tell her straight that her behaviour is distressing you and you don't want her in your face all the time. Tell her that too much is just too much and you needtime to yourself. you don't want to drink all the time, or have someone bothering you all the time.
there is nothing worse than this sort of neighbour, try to be nice when you talk to her she is probably lonley.
the only way to get rid of a bad neighbour is to move, with the risk of getting an even worse one.

Iam not sure where you live, but here in Britain we can refer to a mediator. But first you have to keep alog of all these annoying incidents, then go to your local Council and file a comnplaint (even if you/they are the home-owners). This comes under trespass, if you have told them in writing they are NOT welcome on your premises. A letter from you/your parents may do the trick.l Good Luck.

Lol, find someone you can set her up with as a" blind date". If it works, she will be too busy to bother you, and will always be grateful. If it doesn't, she won't speak to you agan, because she will be mad^_^

Tell her you have a very contagious disease. Put toothpaste in your mouth to make foam. . . and start foaming at the mouth.
