I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. I myself have the same problem, I am almost 6 months pregnant and its hard to find a job. I would recomend your husband to apply to a temp agency in the mean time. I don't know your husband's background so depending on what he can do, they will find him a job, anywhere from an office job to a construction position.

If you want something like Retail, lots of stores are hiring for christmas and pay good. HomeDepot pay $9 the hour in CA, don't know about Texas - but I know that in Christmas they need help and would hire you right awawy. There are others store you can look up besides homedepot. Also, I think night crew job in Markets pay good as well, you just need to look that may take you a little longer.

Last but not least, I just found out the other day that a woman that is pregnant can file for disability in state of CA and the State can give you a pension until you give birth. You can find out about texas and try to see if the state can help you. Wish you the best of luck and hopefully your husband finds a job soon so the babies can have a good christmas!!

God bless.

Does your husband have solid restaurant experience? People who do are in demand, and DFW is a large enough area there ought to be something available.

Good luck - and congrats on the pregnancy, even if the timing is turning out not to be the best.
