Las night on Fox one caption read:
"NEW BOOK EXPLAINS WHY OBAMA IS NOT ELECTABLE"

Wouldn't ''alleges" be more fair and balanced than "why"?

If it were a diatribe against a republican woulnt the book be handled not as objective truth but as a tall tale?

What legal recourse can the Democratic National Committee take against this opinionated salnder haphazzardly posing as "news"?

Frankly, I think public figures should be able to sue for slander and libel against people who lie about them.

If something is said as a joke, opinion, or in saracasm. That's fine. But if somebody is saying something that is not true, they should be held liable. For example newsbusters and Fox News saying Obama was trained as a terrorist.

In this litigious society, it does not surprise me that the first thoughts of some liberals is "SUE SOMEONE!"

Reality is that they are quoting what the books says. If the book stated that Obama was ALLEGEDLY not electable, then Fox would have probably stated it that way.

You are REACHING VERY FAR to try to smear Fox News. They are not the ones who said he is not electable.

As for Obama. The second he stated that he would never, under any circumstances, resort to the use of nuclear weapons, has put himself one rung lower than Hillary on who I would vote for. Which means that there is probably no eligible person in America who I would not vote for before Obama. The terrorists are probably still laughing and praying to Allah that Obama is elected. A vote for Obama is a vote for the enemies of America.

A court would never grant relief. The media is free to publish such articles. I have been involved in a lot of slander litigation and this does not even come close.
