When would you feel implantation cramps?

My period isn't due for about a week and I am having bad cramps and I'm not sure if they are implantation cramps or what they are. I don't get cramps a week before my period starts and ususally I'm a couple days late then I get cramps the day I'm due till I get it. So I'm not sure what my body is doing. If anyone has been through this before I would love your input. Thanks.

Yes, it's possible that implantation could be starting now but I've also met some women that have had cramping start to occur in the week before their period. The only way to find out for sure what is going on is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think it is.
