Okay, here's the deal. My computer is making my room very hot in temperature, and I don't know what to do about it. I can't turn the air conditioner on right now because it's already cold, and that will only make my room the right temperature, but it will make the rest of the house way too cold. The computer's fan releases hot air when the computer's on, causing the room to heat up. It's not a slight change in temperature, it's a huge change in temperature. The rest of the house can be 60° while my room is nearly at 95°. It's very annoying, does anyone know of anything I can do or buy that will solve my problem? Thanks in advance.

William...that's a good idea. I can do that with the window though, not the door because I like my privacy. =]

It's downstairs...and yeah, it was doing a 35° difference, unless my thermostat is busted, which I really doubt.

Go to the thermostat and turn the house fan to ON this should move the hot air through out the house and help everyone else stay warm.

I sincerely doubt that a regular PC is causing a 35° temperature differential. Is your room upstairs? If so, that's why it's hot in your room and cooler elsewhere.

block off the vent coming into your room dude. If that pc gets that warm you will not need heat from vent. You could install a
robin hood duct booster it robs the warm air from your room and feeds colder rooms. They come in many sizes 6 ,8,10,or12 inch. This will keep your room comfy and reduce heating bills overall.

You can go to any computer web site and buy a water cooling system for your computer. Works nicely and keeps the temp of your computer low. Good luck

You like the door closed, you have a window in the room, and it's cold outside?

Uhhhh, open the window?

Try a ceiling fan....will circulate the warm air to your other rooms.
You might want to have your PC checked....sounds like its getting to warm.
