or possibly, what have you already learned that you've found useful to your life?
I was just outside and was watching a squirrel high up in a tree collecting berries and it would drop one but just look for the next branch with something on it. This made me think about how too often humanity gives up when they 'drop the berry' instead of looking for the next 'branch'.

A number of martial arts have been modeled on the behaviors of animals. Really the most potent thing we need to learn from animals is how to be lazy in a world that is horribly frightening. Gazelles are just walking around waiting for somebody to eat their slowest friend, yet they walk around perfectly content.
Humans gain a lot from our brains that can think about the dangers lurking in the world-- but our big brains don't have to frighten us, they just have to plan. We should relax while planning, and save that stress-hormone turbo boost for when we need it to make the plan work.

I am a HUGE animal lover .....
I think that animals are much more caring than many humans are ....
Think of how often you hear about a female animal, nursing and caring for a animal of a completely different species ...
It happens all the time.
But humans are sometimes so consumed with hate, and intolerance ... it is very sad, really .....

Every time I see one specie befriending another specie or one specie taking care of the young of another specie, I ask myself if they are truly the "animals"...
