It's not bad, but I think it seems rather masculine. If it's pronouced Bay-den, I would spell it Bayden, but otherwise it's fine with Baiden.

It's actually really nice, and I kinda like it too. It's unique, but with sorta a traditonal touch to it? Pair it with a classic girl's name, like Baiden Rose or Baiden Mae and it will sound really nice.

I really like it, and I say go for it!!

You're looking for something different, right?

The trouble with Baiden is that there are tons of little boys out there with names that are quite close to Baiden. In 2006 alone, 11,430 baby boys were named Aiden; 9,888 were called Aidan; another 9,469 were Jayden; 6,391 were Hayden; 6,096 named Brayden; 4,863 called Jaden; and 4,681 named Kaden. I'm not counting Braden, Caden, Caiden, Braeden, Aden, Aaden, Haden, Jaiden or a few other variants that I could imagine. This often feels like the MOST common name called out on playgrounds.

While these names are less common for girls, there will still well over 1,500 female Jaydens born last year.

Anything that ends in -aden, -ayden, -aeden or -aiden is going to feel VERY popular, VERY common and not at all unusual.

I understand your desire to choose an unusual given name for a child, but this just isn't it ... even if *technically* there aren't any little girls named Baiden out there.

It makes me think of Colonel Bayden-Powell the founder of the Boy Scouts or his wife who founded the Girl Scouts.

I'm not saying that's a bad thing... that's just what it brings to mind. I'm not really a fan of the name because it strikes me as being difficult to spell and pronounce and it seems rather masculine for a little girl.

Baiden is a catastrophe with a pink ribbon.
Just another result of the Aiden trend.

Maybe Bella or Imogen?

sure if you are thinking about playing football with her. baiden is a brand of sports balls...as a girl i would be mortified to say my name. plus it is a twist on the super popular "aiden" craze. stay away.

I'm sorry, its ugly and it sounds like a boy's name. Please don't fall into this "aiden" trap that is currently on the rise (ex. Caiden, Aiden, Jayden). Yeah its ugly, pleae don't do this to your daughter
