i am in my third day of tryouts and 35 kids are trying out. 14 will make it. last year i tried out and i made it and had a good year and my coach rly liked me. i am rly good at d and a good ball handler and driver, not such a great shot. last year 29 kids tried out. This year 1 new kid at the shooting guard came and is good. My last year coach is always talking to my this year coach. i play small forward. will i make it?

Every coach has different ideas on what makes players "valuable" and "worthy" of being on a team.
some coaches prefer defensive minded players. Others prefer all offensive minded players.
however there is ALWAYS room on the team for a positive, hardworking teammate.
I'd say just be yourself and try your best. And don't worry too much about other people's games as you have no control over that. Do you and everything will work out for the best.

If the coach likes you then oyu will make it. Just give a 100% and leave it all out on the floor. Like Iverson said he is willing to die on that court, just go in with that mentality and you should be fine. Keep working on that jumper though, what worked for me is making sure I spread my fingers and flick my wrist and always try and get it nice and high.

Yes I think u will make but if ur a SF jus keep improving on ur jump shot because thats what SF do shoot 3's and play defense. Do u play for a school or something?
