14, ive felt ancient since then, 14 is the age that all the characters in books get swept away to start their adventures, but i still feel like im in a cage ♥

I'm almost 25 & don't feel young now . lol.
I think the first was actually at 22. It was a combo of things:
*My one sister who's two years younger than me was in a serious relationship & having a baby whereas I can't find anyone to stay longer than 4-6 months.
*I started working a full-time 40+ hour per week office job
*I cared more about paying bills than partying all the time & didn't care if I stayed in doing nothing all night. (still do)
*I had a cancer scare! (Luckily it was removed/frozen off & now tests show up clear....)

I am not as young as I use to be, but I am not old. I have resposibilities and obligations, but most people do.
Absol once asked me how old I was and was really surprised. He said I was really young at heart for my age. Until Absol told me that, I hadn't really thought much of it. LOL
To me, I am still young and don't ever have to think of myself as old.
When I no longer find it fun to go rollerskating, use the swings, get along with all age groups, learn new things, go to carnivals and many other things... I have not just grown old, I have lost an important part of what makes me me.
No longer young... I just don't see that happening.

Its starting to sink in just a little tiny bit. But I'm fighting it every inch of the way. When you can no longer do back flips off the couch with no hands for the kids. I ended up in the ER and it was so embarassing when my doc called and wanted me to explain myself. I did it perfect the first time but the second time I fell on my neck. hmm no wonder I have back problems.I'll be 50 in may-- but dont feel like it.

I have not reached that age yet. I am 28 and I still feel young. Feel the same as 21 only now I make much more money and can afford bigger and better toys.

tomorrow is my birthday... I turn 26
I have thought more about how to pay my gas bill rather than throwing a party.
I refuse to spend the day with my husband
I am taking off work to do absolultely NOTHING
I am (only remotely) thinking of calling people I haven't seen in years just to havesomething to do
Either that or drive 300 miles to see a screening of a movie that isn't playing here is STL
I am DEFINTELY not young anymore (LOL)
