I sold an item on ebay and the auction is over. I live in USA, but he/she wants me to ship the item to Netherland, Europe. I don't want to ship it all the way to Netherland, so what do I do? the auction is over, can i tell the buyer that i cant sell it to him?

Now you have a problem. You could have restricted the original auction to buyers in say the USA or Canada or Mexico, but you didn't, and he won the auction.

Take the item to the post office, ready for mailing, to find out how much it will cost to ship it there - this is no more complicated than if you were shipping within the US. Then let him know what the shipping costs will be. Any customs issues will be his to deal with.

Make sure he pays you up front. There are a lot of scams that happen on overseas shipments. If he wants to send you a money order for more than the item cost and have you wire him the extra back, he's trying to scam you.
