i whouled like to check my e mail here but the school blocking system wont let me. even for proxys servers/sites wont work here

If you feel that the block does not belong there, then express your concerns to whoever manages the block.

There is an easy way to do this.
First, create a google account if you have not already
Then, open your iGoogle Page (it is on the top right hand corner of google.com.)
Click "Add Stuff"
In the "search for gadgets" box, type the word proxy and click search
Add the first result to your iGoogle page
Then go back to your iGoogle
You can type in the address and get to the site via proxy.
And if the administrators find out about this, they will have to block all of google in order to block it :)

You need to understand that the school machines do not belong to you and therefore you don't have the right to use them in a way not approved by their owners.
If you ever tried that with a federal government machine instead of a local government school system, you would be fired from your job and/or arrested for it. Get into the habit of realizing that machine usage restrictions will exist in all sorts of machines, and the people who own the machines made those restrictions for a reason.

School network administrators put those blocks there to prevent viruses and other attacks from being installed on the network. It can wait til after school.

Something that will work on a lot of websites: go to start-run type cmd then hit enter type "ping" and then the website you are going to. You will get a number (ex 72.14.207.99) and type it into the browser and hit enter. It doesn't work for all site tough.

Don't bypass the firewall it's against school policy and you
could get in trouble with the law.
It's not worth it don't be one of the losers who don't get it
until the cops come talk to them.
