No, they don't slow your iPod down. They just take up a bit of space. I have the same iPod as you! Usually I recommend http://www.zamzar.com/url , but they only convert files up to 100 MB and most movies are at least 500 MB.

You will have to download something. I've never used videora, but I've heard some bad things about it. I personally use http://freez-ipod-video-converter.en.softonic.com/ . It's free and completely safe! After you download that, you'll have to go to http://www.veoh.com and download Veoh TV.

Again, completely free and safe. I'm very protective of my computer, so trust me. =D

Then all you have to do is find a site that links to movies. Here's one:

http://www.forumflicks.com

And find the Veoh category. Easy! So far I've got a bunch of movies on my iPod (only because it can take up to 2 hours to download from Veoh, then another hour to convert it using Freez).

Oh, you have to use Freez to convert the movies to MPEG-4 (aka mp4) format. That's why you download it.

Good luck!

P.S. It won't take up too much space. There are 1024 MB in 1 GB, and you have 30 GB!! Here's what I have on my iPod:

- 422 songs
- 15 music videos
- 2 TV Shows
- 13 videos from YouTube
- 119 audio and video podcasts
- 13 full-length movies
- 10 games

With all of that, I've used up about 13 GB. Which is less than half of the space that my iPod has. Since you have the same one, you can see how much space the iPods really have!! =D

You must make sure the video is mp4 format for iPod. If not, you may try some third party software. Nowadays, there are so many similar not free ipod converteres in the market. You should try your best to choose the best one. I recommend Cucusoft DVD to iPod Video Suite to convert DVD movie and convert videos in any format to iPod. It is the fastest converter I have used. You can download this software free from here

I have the same Ipod, no movies do not slow down the ipod. I have many movies on mine, from both itunes and you tube. You can convert any movie w/ the website below, even you tube vids to mp4 so that they can play on your ipod.

www.zamzar.com

Movies won't slow it down.

Like what the guys above said it depends on how much stuff you put on your iPod. I got quite a few apps like winterboard, sbsettings, and all the other main cydia apps and my iPod runs pretty good.
