She's pretty awesome, and I wanted to do something nice for her. I heard about a "survival kit" where you fill a bag with stuff like sticky notes, pens, paper, etc. and I thought that that sounded cute. But I just wanted to know if anyone else had any ideas.

I'm a teacher and nothing touches me more than a letter or a card written by a student.
I don't feel I should get a present for doing my job even if I can appreciate the gesture.

How about a "spa" survival kit, that way she can relax over the break. You can make some bath salts and then buy some bath products like a loofah and foot scrubby thing etc. at the dollar store...wrap it up really nice and wha-lah...Spa Kit!
Check it out:

i wouldn't give her a candle, its not very creative or special. no offense. try home baked cookies or cupcakes, those are awesome. or... a card of letter saying how much you appreciate her, that shes a great teacher, and they you hope she has a great christmas ect! its little but can be very touching and sweet. since shes a girl, and all girls love jewelery, thats a always a great way to go. be creative, and make it come from the heart.
good luck and merry christmas!

A survival kit is a great idea.
Another great idea is candles, things from bath and body works, or a book she's been wanting.

Teachers can always use those kind of things but I would include some fruit and nuts and maybe home baked cookies. They never seem to have time to make them.

i agree with the other teacher. i am a teacher and the letters i've received from students thanking me or mentioning things we've done in school. if you feel the need for a gift, what you mentioned is good, or the cookies. who doesn't like cookies?

in case you want to grant your instructors Christmas presents, selfmade products are perfect. Do you bake or prepare dinner or knit or stitch or something like that? i could recommend going the selfmade course. you are going to be able to desire to consistently do a outstanding Christmas card with an ornament in it. that would probably be favored. do not affiliate the present in any way alongside with your request for thoughts. a contemporary could desire to take delivery of in view which you want to bless somebody, not in view which you want something from her or him. Then that is not a contemporary yet a variety of fee.

Give her something that is not school-related. I like answerer 1's answer. Bake something for her.
