Is there a way I can find out demographics of the voters who voted for and against California's Proposition 209? I'd like to know how many voted total, their race, socioeconomic status, how many for it, how many against it, etc. Is there a website/book/whatever where I can find these statistics?

I can tell you which individual counties voted for and against Prop. 209, and then perhaps you can cross-reference that information with demographic details for each county.
Looks as if San Fransisco was against it the most, while Amador and Glenn were both in favor.

The best you will be able to do is the surveys before the vote and / or the exit polls after the vote. Since our vote is secret either source could be easily tainted and I wouldn't consider either source to be 100% valid. The only way to know how I voted on the issue (I'm a California voter) is to ask me. Then you have no assurance that I am telling you the truth.

I wish you the best of luck but you will have to accept a guess of dubious quality regardless of the source you select.
