The one on O'Farrell in Union Square is there flagship store in the Bay Area and would be the best to shop at since it's the biggest and best. And yes you would get of at the Powell St Bart to get to that Macy's, it's only like 2 or 3 blocks from the station.

Wear comfortable shoes because you're going to do a lot of walking. After the 5th Avenue store in Manhattan, this is the second largest Macy's in the world. It's actually one store spread across two city blocks - one for women, and one for men.

The subway station is indeed Powell Street. The Union Square exit (Apple Store) is the closest one to both buildings.

there are two store. Women's and cosmetics in one building and across the street is the men's and housewares.

neither is better than the other, just different departments. I prefer the one one that is directly on union square since i am a woman and shop there. I believe that's the O'Farrell street one. There is a parking structure right next to it on O'Farrell.

Powell Bart is the closest station.

Actually, those are just two addresses for the same store (with entrances on two different streets).

There is also a men's store across Stockton Street.

Yes, Powell Street is your station.
