When the skin gets broken by the mechanical injury, blood simply just flows out from the capillaries . Then platelets come and start to plug the holes, catching red cells, white cells , and then the clotting mechanism starts to play.
When the damage is plugged up. the clean up crew comes in.

the red blood cell immediately comes to the site for repair.
