ACTUALLY I AM THE ONE WHO LEFT, SPOUSE STILL WANTS TO BE WITH ME. WE MOVED IN TOGHETHER 1 MONTH CUZZ I ASKED. SPOUSE FOUND OUT I STILL TALK TO THIS PERSON AND SAID THAT I AM FREE TO LEAVE WITH THIS PERSON AND THAT SHE IS NOT HOLDING ME AGAINST MY WILL. SPOUSE SAID SHE LOVES ME AND WOULD RESPECT ANY DECISION I MAKE. I ALSO BROUGHT OUR SON AROUND THE PERSON I HAD AN AFFAIR WITH.

I don't think that the decision is entirely yours to make. What does your wife want? What is best for your son?
It's high time that you begin thinking of others for a change.

No its not wise to leave your spouse for someone else. What you need to do is be alone and find urslf and see what you really want. Have you ever heard grass isnt always greener on the other side. This is usually the case with affairs. Take this moment to reflect on what you want in life.

What makes you think staying married to your wife is your decision? After all you had an affair with another woman....I am assuming your wife found out and wanted a separation....So you are considering running to the woman that you had an affair with and THINK that you love?

You are starting your relationship with another person off on the wrong foot from the very beginning. If you want to be with this other woman, get divorced, get your ducks in a row and THEN pursue a relationship with her. You should never leave one person for another, you need to do it because that is what you want or need to do. You have a child with your wife and you obviously still harbor feelings for her. If you wish to reconcile, cease ALL contact with the other woman and just go back to your wife...and beg! good luck!

do you want to be with that someone your having an affair with as much as you've wanted to be with your spouse in the beggining of the relationship? it's not about being wise about it,it's how you feel. if you don't know if you want to get divorced then don't,obviously what you feel for the affair isn't strong enough to end what used to be"enough"for you.

if you don't love your wife anymore then it would be for the best to go your separate ways. don't stay together for the child it will only mess his life up more. have you talked to see if you can get past the affair and maybe regain trust again? 8 mos. is a long time for a separation i hate to say it the marriage just might not be able to be saved.

I encourage you to repent, TURN FROM this sin, ask God to forgive you and seek His guidance for how to love your wife like He says you're supposed to.
You CAN survive infidelity with God's direction.

Why are you screaming? Should have kept your dingding in your pants. You make choices and suffer the consequences.
