clothes, toys, a memory box, you could start some kind of collection for her - dolls, teddy bears, etc that you could add to on future special occasions.

The first toy that was a hit here was a "Winkel."

Not 'cute' per se, but certainly more attractive than some of the cartoon-grotesque rattles/teethers out there. It is very easy to grab, and easy to jam in the mouth -- I think it's an extremely well designed sort of first toy.

And this "cuddle doll" is a sweetie:

...not going to get so much interest at two months, but it will eventually, and it's definitely cute.

wow I was just asking my husband about whether or not parents get presents for their 2 month old babies. i would go on the target.com website. they have categories of toys based on age. i would recomment getting teething toys though. you can get a whole set of them for $15 at target. also, maybe you could take handprints of her and give them to you and your husband. this would be a better memory than even pictures. put them in cement or something. also for the baby, her first ornament maybe.

I had a 2month previous at christmas and we had an excellent relatives accumulating away earlier they went to stay in new zeland and that i continually made specific my little boy replaced into in mattress at that factor. i could do what ever your coronary heart tells you to do. i in my opinion could leave at 8 however, pushing a 2month previous interior the path of the night in december while it'sa freezing is not this type of stable concept. in case you somewhat easily need to bypass you need to ask your mum or your companions mum to return and get the toddler to babysit for you. do no longer provide into tension out of your hosts this is abit unfair for them to coach around and say that to you. better of success, wish this facilitates

Carter's has this great toy. It is a little puppy that barks but has a pull cord that makes him vibrate while he barks. It is like 12 bucks. My son adores it and he is three months right now.
