i have a question asking me to draw a picture of a textbook on a table and label all the forces acting on it, we are on like mass and inertia but i dont understand what other forces would be acting on the book other than gravity

Gravity is forcing the book down and the natural resistance of the table is pushing it back up.

Gravity down. Reaction of table up.

There are other forces, of course, such as Archimedean upthrust from the displaced air, and the forces of Brownian motion, but these are normally ignored because they are so very small. Now can I have a 'thumbs up' please?
