well yea i used to play it alot. I dont think that there is enough battles. it is dated but for its time it was one of the best.

Yeah, its slow at the beginning and there are aLOT of long cutscenes, but it gets way better, more challenging, with alot of side-quests too. I wrapped it about 8 or 9 times just because it was such a great game, but then my N64 broke so now Im sad, Zelda was the only game that I really played on it. It was like my holy grail.

OoT Was a fantastic game. I'd have to say that you're still dealing with the boring introductory parts, and that it gets way better once you become an adult. After you can start going back and forth between time it gets awesome.
And there's a lot of great boss battles too!

It was voted best game of that year and it has been voted the best game ever but people are saying that Mario Galaxy is now taking it's spot thats crazy because Ocarina has been the best game ever this long

You should still play it, Alot of the features/themes in modern games originate or are influenced by this game. Its like if you played ff10 first and not ff6-9. Also, it was the first game to feature a targetting combat system, as far as i know :P Just play it, you will enjoy it. TP was nothing compared to OOT ;)
