1 Lust
I fall in lust everyday
2 Gluttony
I SCREAM !! with chocolate topping
3 Greed
I don't know why but I spend money as fast as I make it. I WANT MORE !
4 Sloth
Not so much. I like going and doing. Sittin' 'round ain't fer me.
5 Wrath
When I get cut off on the Freeway... I'll show ya some WRATH.
6 Envy
Jealously and Envy are often construed as one but they aren't. I have envy for the guy who has a better car than me. But jealousy isn't a big one for me. If someone is cheatin' on me, I let her go......... bye !!
7 Pride
If you're good at something and take pride in it, there's no sin in my book. Being proud of your accomplishments is a good thing.
GOOD question. Star for you.
EDIT: Suzie S. Could be Lust... or could be Sloth, depending on what you're doin' there. :+)

I need to get rid of SLOTH - but medical problems prevent me from doing too much. I used to be an A type personality and now I think I am a Z! I do not eat much (gluttony), I have forgotten how to lust after a man (been a long long time), my wrath is under control, am not overly prideful, I have everything I need so I neither envy others nor am I greedy! (Did I get them all)! Good question Mr. Ed. CJ

The seven deadly sins is a itemizing initially utilized in early Christian teachings to show and practice followers appropriate to (immoral) fallen guy's tendency to sin. the misunderstanding appropriate to the checklist of 7 “deadly” sins is they are sins that God won't forgive. The Bible is obvious that the only sin God won't forgive is that of continued unbelief, by means of fact it rejects the only skill to acquire forgiveness—Jesus Christ and His substitutionary demise on the go. Is the belief of 7 deadly sins biblical? particular and no. Proverbs 6:sixteen-19 pronounces: “There are six issues the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: (one million) haughty eyes, (2) a mendacity tongue, (3) hands that shed harmless blood, (4) a coronary heart that devises depraved schemes, (5) ft that are speedy to hurry into evil, (6) a faux witness who pours out lies, and (7) a guy who stirs up dissension between brothers.” in spite of the undeniable fact that, this checklist isn't what maximum folk understand by means of fact the seven deadly sins. listed in an identical order by using the two Pope Gregory the large in the 6th century, and later by using Dante Alighieri in his epic poem The Divine Comedy, the seven deadly sins are as follows: satisfaction, envy, gluttony, lust, anger, greed, and sloth. despite if those are undeniably sins, they are in no way given the define of "the seven deadly sins" in the Bible. the classic checklist of 7 deadly sins can function as a stable thank you to categorize the numerous diverse sins that exist. almost all sorts of sin must be placed below between the seven categories. extra importantly, in spite of the undeniable fact that, is that we understand those seven sins are no longer any further “deadly” than the different sin. All sin ends up in demise (Romans 6:23). compliment be to God, that with the aid of Jesus Christ, all of our sins, consisting of the “seven deadly sins,” could properly be forgiven (Matthew 26:28; Acts 10:40 3; Ephesians one million:7).

actually, a good portion of people DO think of the Commandments when you mention the deadly sins. i personally think they ALL should be kept on the list. i look at it this way -- a number of them could lead to anger, and anger can be deadly. When someone gets angry they might commit road rage, spousal abuse, even murder. and those could be the result of just a few sins. the lust and envy could result in having an affair, etc. so many on that list can pertain to morder day if you really think about it.

Hanging my head in shame...gluttony...I'm not overweight, but only because I work at it...
I dearly love pasta and I overeat when I have it...to the point where I cannot move! LOL
Also suffer from lust when I see a handsome man! ROFL!
Take pride off the list...I believe in being proud [though not false pride, but taking pride in one's accomplishments and good points and using them to be an even better person and help another]

Mine has got to be "pride." Take it off the list!!!!
I respect myself and I feel I have personal worth.
I have an over amount of self satisfaction.
I can't help it but I know I have at times intimidated some and that I have tried to correct.
I'm so proud of everything, but I am who I am and at 72, I just simply, forget to work at being better.
Tomorrow, I pledge to do better.
