Having an ego means that we usually try to emphasize the positive things about ourselves and downplay the negative things.
A healthy ego is capable of showing both positive and negative aspects without judging either. It is of course up to us what we choose to project about ourselves, but having a healthy ego means that our image of ourselves is coherent with our actions.
In other words, we should not strive to only project positivity, but to be as honest as we can be about who we are and what makes us tick.

People tend to show different negative and positive qualities. None of us are exactly the same.
For me...
Positive... Caring, compassion, understanding, acceptance of others and their differences, patience and love. I am sure there are some I haven't thought of right now.
Negative... low tolerance for those who don't care to learn and remain ignorant, sometimes my temper will get the best of me when pushed too far and more that I am not thinking of.
You will have to forgive me today. I am still not perfectly well and am tired. I at least am trying. lol

only the positive ones ofcourse, bec it's inspiring and worth it. i don't want to be surrounded by negative energy
