No bible talk PLEASE, christians need not bother attempting answering this question, humans have been around for over 6million years, christianity only 2000 years. The oldest religion in the world is what we give a very general name to today which is shamanism, but basically there was a spiritual guy in a tribe and different tribes had their own religions but it was based around nature and nature spirits.

The First Story Ever Told

Not quite an answer to your question. But saw a programme where someone went to live with a tribe and when the men came of age they were told the "big" secret by the shaman and it was that in the begining women ruled the world. And it had to be kept a secret because if women remembered or found out they would take control again. These lost tribes probably know the secrets about many of the ancient myths that still puzzle us.

particular that's innovations-blowing. that's been on sale for a while and continues to be a maximum suitable seller. in case you put in some attempt you will locate the characters are asserting better than you're listening to. the finished e book, the two halves all 66 areas has a plot that runs for the time of to bare in deed the main suitable tale ever advised. I only wish human beings could positioned 0.5 the attempt in bible learn as they do examining fiction. As a lover of sci-fi and fable i discover the e book eye-catching. As an observer of history i discover it authentic. How lots attempt do you place into study in the previous you form an opinion. Or do you only have faith what ever you like and make the worldwide slot on your field? God Bless!

I know one of the earliest stories believed ever written was in Egypt. Basically, a pharoah's boat stopped when the female rower refused to continue rowing after losing her necklace in the lake. The magician on board parted the waters so the girl could retreive her necklace, and was awarded by the pharoah. The story is described in Zahi Hawass' "Mountains of the Pharoahs," and was made into a lovely watercolor picture book called "Muti's Necklace."

it's a koan.

i'll look it up.

[EDIT:]
ok.
if it is not about jendresen & villoldo' stories and you were told this as simply as you just asked, as a koan, the answer is "the story of my death" or "how did i die".

why?
because, in order to become a true shaman, one must first experience a symbolic death. only after 'he dies' he begins 'the real life'.
everything before that is not only insignificant, but also non-existing.

koan.
sorry, no specific links for this 'interpretation'.

LOL, its a concept (about the Shaman). I think that means that the person will just know that he is now a Shaman.
But realistically, probably a hunting story, but probably told thru motions, grunts, and drawings, lol.

it was most likely a story told between Jesus, God, and The Holy Spirit. I would imagine it would have something to do with the creation of man.
