I like to email, but when it is someone you love ~ OMG talking on the phone is SO much better!!! =D

I would much rather email them. I really don't like talking on the phone very much and my best friend can stay on the phone for about 3 hours when she's been drinking. It drives me crazy when she calls.

Most of the time, depending on the person, I would rather talk to them on the phone.

If it was a guy a liked or someone I'd be nervous to even talk to on the phone I would email.
It's nice though to just use the technology that was invented first which is ,the phone.

Talk, all the way, I hate emailing or traditional mailing. I can't communicate unless I know somebody listens to me right now. (YA is different, I don't have a specific correspondent to comunicate with, so I'm sending the answers 'in the air').
