I know this is really weird but I do. I used to be very open and sexual around him but now it seems like we know each other too well and he is more like a friend than a partner. I do not feel comfortable being naked around him or having sex, especially with the lights on.. I don't know how to turn things back to the way they were.

oh dear. this sounds painful.
when a lover becomes a friend, they stay a friend.
so you better quickly remember why you love and desire your husband. Spend time hanging out and having fun with your man.
Flirt and be silly with him.
Laugh.
When it comes time to "do the deed" you take control. Do something new and exciting. You could jump him in the back yard in the late afternoon for example.
Wake him up in the morning with a special surprise.
you know what i mean. Jazz up the sex life and you will be amazed how quickly you get over your embarrassment.
having the time to be embarrassed indicates to me that your sex life is not passionate throughout. With high speed passion you won't having time to be embarrassed.
Role playing is another way to get over embarrassment. Would Wonderwoman be embarrassed? Hmm?

Ah yes, the age-old dilemma of "familiarity breeds contempt". In your case, familiarity has taken the romantic edge off your marriage, and you feel more like friends than lovers. Maybe you'd benefit by marriage counseling, or do something a little out of the ordinary, such as arranging a "date" with your husband, meeting him at a cocktail lounge, and pretending like it's your first encounter. Dress and act sexy like you did when you were courting. Or do a similar thing at home, by fixing a romantic, candle-lit dinner, and wear something revealing. Thats a little silly but I understand! I feel like that somedays but he is your husband and I am sure that he loves you very much and he has the right to see you naked for heaven sakes if he is a faithfull man that is he right! Not that you are his slave because that is not what I mean at all but when you are doing the deed I am sure seeing your womanly-ness helps him get in the mood! I feel embarresed sometimes when we are snuggling and I feel like my tummy is sticking out to far and he might feel my "Chubbies" LoL but I seriously think you might need help to over come this unless you want him to start looking at magazines and porn so that he can see boobies and stuff every once in a while!
