Both parties are terrible, and we need a better, more responsible, third choice. Remember, the Democrats ran on a policy of ending the War in Iraq and caved in on the first challenge from Bush.

i can inform you the reason The conflict on drugs remains occurring is lobbyism. Lobbyism from pharmaceutical businesses, tobacco businesses, alcohol generating businesses, detention center unions, and definitely the cartels from Mexico, substantial united states of america and South united states of america do have lobbyists in Washington that convince politicians to save it occurring. Why? because cartels discover the conflict on drugs to be somewhat worthwhile. so some distance as Republicans bypass for being fiscally conservative that they had the settlement with united states of america and they did nicely as a Congress after 1994. They and bill Clinton helped create a surplus which change into ultimately dismantled from Bush's wars and different reckless spending. The Democrats are socially liberal yet for now Nancy Pelosi has in basic terms centred on economics because that transforming into Speaker and he or she is pushing a progressive economic time table. yet once back on social subject matters especially commonly lobbyists have the better hand.

For the same reason that Bush has been elected the last two terms. The democrats just can't find anyone better and when it comes to the lesser of the two evils, I'll vote republican every time and I'm not even a repub.

both are very good questions but lets stick with the republicans.
they have time and again proven that they can not be trusted to run the country. starting with the Nixon administration and continuing through to bush 43, every one has been involved in some kind of scandal that revealed a corrupt nature that is solidly ingrained in the party.
does any one still doubt Kerry in the 04 election who said that "this is the most corrupt bunch that has come down the pike".

I would rather see tax payer money spent on fighting the war on terror then the Liberal socialists war on global warming. I would rather see tax payer money being spent on protecting this country then the hundreds of million the Dem's want to spend taking care of ILLEGALS in this country.

The "overspending" you reference is the war. It pales in amount when compared to "entitlements" implemented by the libs. 60% of the budget goes to entitlements and less than 20% to defense. I put my money on defense any day. Freedom is not free and we must fight when it is threatened, as radical Islam is threatening today.
