Recent reports are that it's suppose to be the fastest literbike and gonna take the 2008 blow the crown away from GSXR 1000 !

I don’t know if you can really take anything the manufactures say to face. I would look at their past history. I my self am not a huge fan of them but I do give praise to all the brands for what they do best. Honda has always built a solid user friendly platform. I think they are trying to make their way to making their sport bikes more competitive with the other brands now. Other than MotoGp they really never did all that well in races but as we all saw with the introduction of their new 2007 CBR600RR showed something entirely different. This is great but I am also worried. I have noticed Honda has been following the thought that "lighter is better". Which means they are going to be making drastic compromises to shave weight.
As for 2008 I think the all new 08 Kawasaki ZX-10R has the best chances of dethroning the all mighty gixxer but who knows we will just have to wait and see now wont we?

Hate the look, The little shorty back seat is terrible and doesn't even come half way over the back tire. I thought they needed to change the headlight pattern, but not make it look as shitty as they can. The only part I like is the little shorty exhaust which is incorprated into the ferring design, but I would still prefer the under the seat look. The front ferrings barely cover anything, it's practally a naked bike. I hate the thing cosmetically.
as far as the specs it's light and powerful as all the new ones should be. I'm glad they stepped up from that 929 and 954 bullshit but it's still not going to beat suzuki so who cares?
no way in hell it'll beat the new gsx

Not my style. I like the older bikes. My CB 900 Custom rocks. It's a 10 speed.

Shaped to do one thing : Keep the W.S.B title for 2009.
I dont think its the best looking bike of 08 but it will be fast.
